My desktop protection

I have been playing around with the settings of my desktop protection from spyware, viruses, etc.  Not turning it off mind you, just tweaking.  Something is slowing my website building software and I am trying to isolate the problem.  I use Spybot S&D and Norton Internet Security (Which incidentally is running in the background right now.)

I defragged my hard drive a couple of weeks ago and swept the pc for spyware yesterday.  I know it is clean but I wonder if I am running so much, I may have to heed my advice and get more RAM.

How to find cheap desktop computers..
