Compare Multimedia Desktop Computers
Multimedia computer usage requires a bit more power than most cheap desktop computers provide. They place a bigger demand on the processor and generally require more memory and hard drive space.Generally, a computer user that enjoys music, video and the other features of multimedia will need a DVD drive with disk burning capability. In most cases, they will also want a second CD/RW drive that will facillitate copying. In addition, an upgrade in sound cards and speakers is also a requested feature.
Many users are also requesting a TV card in order to receive TV signals into their PC. Personally, this is something I would never use but many do. It does allow the capability of recording the signals coming into the card.
Prices for this type of desktop computer have also fallen significantly over the past year.
