My PC Is Running Slow
One of the complaints most often heard in my circles is that of a slow running PC. This can be caused by many things. Among them are: insufficient memory, slow hard drive, spyware, virus infection, too many applications loaded at startup.
I have 3 PCs and I am constantly trying to refine settings to increase speed. I have a fast internet connection and am on the computer most of the day. I hate it when a page or application takes minutes (or what seems to be minutes) to load.
I recently came across a book that addresses these and other problems and gives fixes for them. I am in the process of applying them to my PC as we speak.
